With more than 20 years' experience in construction, restoration, and development, James brings a wealth of knowledge, pragmatism, and authenticity to every project and engagement he takes on.

From consulting on five-star luxury hotels and working on “the most spectacular golf course on earth”, to designing and building bespoke interiors for homeowners, James' work has been praised across the world and recognized in some of the industry's top magazines.

Nearly a decade ago, James was headhunted from Ireland to take his knowledge and expertise to the other side of the world - Australia - where he set up his business, the Ardour Consulting Group. In 2020, he relocated to Tennessee, USA where he continues to hone his craft, and consult locally and internationally on projects that require his unique expertise.

James is able to leverage his craftsmanship, unique experience, and skill set which he developed whilst working on projects such as European castles dating back to the 12th century, and heritage-listed buildings. His understanding of traditional methods underpins his methodology when consulting with clients on how to create good design, sustainability, and longevity in their builds and projects.

I assess whether the property has the right elements to be able to create their dream home, within their budget, and I help clients solve challenging problems with the properties they currently have."
